Gratitude Challenge- Day #9

Standard

“Enjoy the people around you.  Take a moment to appreciate their unique talents, abilities, and personalities.”Thankfully each person does have their own unique gifts and abilities.  Otherwise the world would be very boring!  Comparing people to another or even to me is cheating them out of their uniqueness.  I can overlook what is truly good in that person.  Their perspective, personality and talents can take us somewhere new in life, to a place that we couldn’t have gone on our own.

For example, I’m not that crafty of a person.  Sure I can come up with good ideas, but actually doing the brunt work of “crafting” my idea into an actual object, well that’s not really my forte…  I do have some really crafty friends though who I tell my idea and together we come up with something even better than my original idea.  That’s teamwork at its finest, using each person’s unique gifts and abilities!  Also by working together, the person that is more adept to craftiness will teach me a few things as we go along.

Appreciating others can only strengthen my life and help me become a better person.
